Dr. Sangeeta Prasad is a liberation psychologist who focuses on mind-body integration to improve nervous system regulation. She began practicing yoga in 2001 and is a registered yoga teacher with pre and post partum specialization. Her areas of specialization include early intervention, violence prevention, addressing racism and misogyny in clinical practice, and training focused on adapting psychological practice to meet the actual needs of minority communities by integrating mind and body. Dr. Prasad obtained her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis in Spanish and International Studies, her Masters from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education in Risk and Prevention Counseling, and her Doctorate in Psychology from The George Washington University. She is grateful for her family and her teachers.
